CSDG Study Fellows Arrive
Nineteen new study fellows have arrived in London to take part in the 2011/2012 Fellowships for African Scholars and Women's Peace and Security Fellowship programmes, funded by the Carnegie Foundation New York and the African Women Development Fund. This year's CSDG study fellows hail from Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, The Gambia, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.

Launch of the African Leadership Centre in Nairobi
The Conflict, Security and Development Group (CSDG), King's College London successfully launched the African Leadership Centre (ALC) on 24 June 2010 in Nairobi. The ALC will operate in partnership with the university of Nairobi and other African institutions.
The ALC is an exciting new initiative led by CSDG. The ALC will contribute to Africa's long-term social, political and economic development by mentoring and training the next generation of talented, young leaders and facilitating their participation in change processes within their communities.
